Job summary

Chapeltown Citizens Advice in Leeds is seeking a Generalist adviser / caseworker to support clients through a resilience fund. You will deliver advice via drop-ins, appointments, telephone and remote channels, helping people understand options and take practical steps.

The role requires energy, empathy and initiative with a focus on inclusivity and teamwork. The position is a fixed-term contract to 30/09/2027, 36.25 hours per week, with a salary range of £25,863 to £27,514 plus a 5% pension and

Qualifications

• provide accessible, confidential information and advice to people seeking support across a range of issues.
• manage your own caseload, support volunteers to deliver a high-quality service and contribute positively to an inclusive, collaborative and enthusiastic team culture.
• This is funded under the crisis and resilience fund.

Responsibilities

• Advice may be delivered through drop-in sessions and/or scheduled appointments at Chapeltown, Leeds, telephone and remote channels.
• You will help people understand their options, make informed decisions and take practical next steps.
• Working with energy, empathy and initiative, you will manage your own caseload and support volunteers to deliver a high-quality service.
