Chapeltown Citizens Advice in Leeds is seeking a motivated adviser to provide accessible information and confidential advice across a range of issues for the local community.
You will deliver advice through drop-in sessions, scheduled appointments, and telephone or remote channels, while managing your own caseload and supporting volunteers to maintain a high-quality service within an inclusive team culture.
Salary £25,863 - £27,514 depending on experience plus 5% pension and 36 days holiday (including bank holidays)

Based in an inner city multi-racial area of Leeds, Chapeltown Citizens Advice is an independent charity with 20 paid staff and 35 volunteers that provides a comprehensive advice service from its main office and outreaches. We have a vacancy for the following:
We’re looking for someone with energy, empathy and initiative to provide accessible, confidential information and advice to people seeking support across a range of issues.
Advice may be delivered through drop-in sessions and/or scheduled appointments at Chapeltown, telephone and remote channels.
You will help people understand their options, make informed decisions and take practical next steps. Working with energy, empathy and initiative, you will manage your own caseload, support volunteers to deliver a high-quality service and contribute positively to an inclusive, collaborative and enthusiastic team culture.

Hours: 36.25 per week (full time)
Location: Chapeltown, Leeds
Contract: fixed term to 30/9/27 starting as soon as possible
