Job summary

Castle Education is partnering with a supportive primary school in Thirsk to recruit a Teaching Assistant for the new academic year. You will join a caring team to help pupils across KS1/KS2, working with teachers to support activities and learning, including small group and 1:1 support.

You’ll help create an inclusive, engaging classroom and support pupils’ confidence and development. This rewarding role focuses on helping children reach their academic and personal potential, with safeguarding

Qualifications

• Has experience working with children or young people.
• Caring, patient and encouraging.
• Able to adapt to the needs of different pupils.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passionate about supporting children's education.
