  • Encourage confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
  • Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation.
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs when required.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils achieve their potential.
  • Encourage confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
  • Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation.
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs when required.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For

We would love to hear from candidates who have:

  • Experience working with children in a school, childcare, coaching, or support role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
  • The ability to build rapport with pupils and staff.
  • A passion for helping children learn and succeed.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different schools and year groups.

Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential for all roles.
