Job summary

The Red Barn in Lingfield, a 500-year-old countryside pub, is seeking a food-focused, guest-centric General Manager. You will run the operation with autonomy, shaping the menu, events and guest experience, and lead a small team.

This live-in role offers up to 55k salary plus a substantial annual bonus, private health, enhanced pension, life cover, and staff discounts. Training and career progression are provided by Young's Pubs.

We're looking for a food-focused, guest centric General Manager for The Red Barn in Lingfield, where Surrey kisses Kent. This pub is full of character and has its home in a 500-year-old Barn. From the flagstones to the wooden beams and rafters and cosy fireplaces - this pub oozes traditional countryside beauty and charm.

This Lingfield institution prides itself on being a food-destination community focused pub, and comes complete with a number of stunning bookable spaces including the barn, a private dining room, a gorgeous garden and all sorts of nooks and crannies for family feasts, weddings, meetings or a few pints of ale by the fireside. We are looking for a people-focused landlord who has experience working with fresh, seasonal food at volume for this absolute classic countryside pub.
