Job summary

Popeyes UK&I is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to take full ownership of a busy Cardiff restaurant. You will lead a fast-paced team to deliver high standards, strong guest experience and solid financial results.

You’ll own recruitment, schedule, training and day-to-day operations, ensuring food safety, quality and brand standards. We offer performance bonuses, holiday entitlement and healthcare to support your success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.
• Experience with labour scheduling and inventory management.
• Strong people leadership and development of talent.
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all times.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Full accountability for restaurant performance, inc P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audit and brand standards.
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers and unleash their potential.
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site.
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target.
• Build rotas balancing availability, labour budgets, and peak trade.
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action.
