Job summary

POPEYES UK CHICKEN & PIZZA LTD in the UK is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to take full ownership of a single site, driving high standards in people, sales, profit and guest experience. You will lead a fast-moving team, deliver quality and safety, own recruitment and development, and ensure brand standards, efficiency and exceptional service.

The role offers strong incentives and progression through Popeyes University alongside a 10% performance bonus, a £1000 referral bonus,

Qualifications

• Proven experience as General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HACCP, health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Full accountability for restaurant performance, including P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audits, and brand standards.
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers.
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site.
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target.
• Build rotas that balance availability, labour budgets, and peak trade.
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action.
• Maintain energy and culture across the team.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Strong people leadership, you've built teams and developed future talent
• Experience in new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial
