Job summary

Popeyes Louisiana Chicken UK&I is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to take full ownership of a high-volume site. You will lead performance across people, sales, profit, and guest experience, ensuring top standards and strong metrics.

You will drive food safety, brand standards, and continuous improvement while recruiting and developing your team for future growth. This is a hands-on role at a Popeyes site in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven GM in branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Track record of hitting sales targets and managing P&L.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and employment laws.
• Own full accountability for restaurant performance including P&L, sales, labour, and food cost.
• Develop and empower your team to grow their careers.
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for the site.
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target.
• Build rotas balancing availability and labour budgets for peak trade.
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action.
• Maintain high energy, service quality, and a positive culture.

What You’ll Do Here

• Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation
• Full accountability for your restaurant’s performance, inc P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audit and brand standards
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers and unleash their potential
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target
• Build rotas that balance availability, labour budgets, and peak trade

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all time
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems
• Strong people leadership, you've built teams and developed future talent
• Experience in new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial
• The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
