Job summary

Popeyes Louisiana Chicken UK&I is seeking an experienced General Manager to take full ownership of a busy restaurant. You will lead teams to deliver exceptional guest experience, financial performance, and brand standards.

The role requires a proven track record in high-volume hospitality, strong people leadership, and the ability to drive sales and manage costs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume restaurant.
• Proven ability to drive sales, manage costs and maintain food safety standards.
• Strong leadership and talent development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and employment laws.
• Own restaurant performance including P&L, sales, labour, food cost and audits.
• Develop and empower your team to grow their careers.

• Own recruitment and succession planning for your site.
• Control stock, inventory, ordering and waste to target.
• Build rotas balancing availability with labour budgets.
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action.

What You’ll Do Here

• Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation
• Full accountability for your restaurant’s performance, inc P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audit and brand standards
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers and unleash their potential
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target
• Build rotas that balance availability, labour budgets, and peak trade
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action
• Bring the Fun and keep the energy high, the service smooth, and the culture poppin’

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all time
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems
• Strong people leadership, you've built teams and developed future talent
• Experience in new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial
• The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
