Job summary

Popeyes UK&I is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to take full ownership of a busy Popeyes restaurant. You will lead a fast-paced team, drive sales, manage costs and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

You will recruit and develop staff, build strong schedules, and maintain brand standards while delivering consistent quality and service. This role offers a clear path for progression within Popeyes University and a competitive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Experience as GM in branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Proven ability to hit sales targets, manage P&L, and control costs.
• Strong people leadership with track record of developing talent.
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Own restaurant performance including P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audits and brand standards.
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers and potential.
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service and guest experience standards.
• Own recruitment, development plans and succession planning for your site.
• Control stock, inventory, ordering and waste to target.
• Build rotas balancing availability, labour budgets and peak trade.
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and act.
• Maintain high energy, and a strong service culture.

What You’ll Do Here

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all time
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costsExperience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems
• Strong people leadership, you've built teams and developed future talent
• Experience in new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial
• The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
