Overview

This role is pivotal in delivering operational housing maintenance services aimed at enhancing service quality. Reporting to the designated Repairs Officer, the position involves a range of tasks such as inspections, repairs, servicing, improvements, and replacements, all executed according to job orders and work programs. A key focus is on elevating customer service quality and the overall efficiency of ad hoc repair services. The role requires ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, meet quality standards, and satisfy tenant expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Represent NNC during working hours, upholding company standards and values.
  • Execute individual or joint tasks within the designated work area, adhering to current RAMS.
  • Adhere to work schedules, ensuring timely completion of appointments and work orders.
  • Perform trade-based tasks according to skill requirements, including multi-skilling as per skills audits.
  • Utilize PDA, mobile phone, or other technology for direct communication with the Repairs Officer or office staff.
  • Plan daily workload, manage stock/van, and schedule pre-inspections/appointments to meet performance standards.
  • Order follow-up work and materials as needed, ensuring project/service/repairs program requirements are met.
  • Occasionally report directly to temporary site setups.
  • Work independently or as part of a team on various tasks as required.
