Agilent Technologies in the UK (Cheadle/Mancehster area) is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to deliver high‑level reactive and proactive services across Agilent's product portfolio. You will work with remote diagnostic tools to minimize downtime and improve instrument performance, with occasional on-site installations and service visits.

The role requires a degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences, strong chromatography and mass spectrometry experience, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor/Master/PhD in Chemistry or Life Science.
Experience in chromatography techniques and mass spectrometry in lab environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Excellent remote troubleshooting skills.
Structured approach to work with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Provide high level reactive and proactive technical services for Agilent product portfolio.
Be part of a team of remote technical engineers based in Cheadle.
Perform remote troubleshooting on hardware, software and applications.
Resolve problems to optimize uptime and system performance.
Visit customer sites for installations, repairs and scheduled services when required.
