Job summary

MERKUR Casino UK in Gainsborough is hiring a Part-time Team Member to join our busy venue. This role is 20 hours per week with an hourly pay rate of £12.84 to £13.84, plus a night rate of £13.84 between 23:00 and 06:00.

You will welcome customers, deliver friendly service, and help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant gaming environment. Experience in retail, hospitality or gambling is preferred; training is provided and weekend/bank holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service in retail, hospitality or gambling.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Flexible and able to work on a rota including weekends/bank holidays.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain venue housekeeping to a high standard and clean gaming areas.
• Serve customers and offer refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
• Monitor customer behavior and escalate any concerns per policy.
• Carry out admin tasks with accuracy and support promotions.
• Log interactions with customers and uphold company standards.
• Maintain personal presentation and adhere to dress code on duty.
• Develop product knowledge to enhance the customer journey and enjoyment.
• Learn safeguarding policies and participate in compliance training.
