Job summary

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors. We are seeking a Functional Skills English Tutor for a centre-based role.

The role offers a full-time, permanent position with a salary of up to £40,000 (including location uplift). You will deliver Functional Skills English up to Level 2 in a classroom setting, using existing resources and preparing your own when needed, while providing IAG and engaging learners.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 5 Teaching qualification (e.g. CertEd/DTLLS/PGCE).
• Experience delivering Functional Skills English.
• Must hold own Level 2 qualification in English.
• Experience delivering training to small groups of learners.
• Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train clients.
• Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.

Essential Criteria:
