Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Functional Skills English Tutor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is centre based, delivering Functional Skills English up to Level 2 within a classroom setting.

You will use existing delivery resources and create your own materials when required, delivering engaging sessions and providing ongoing information, advice and guidance to learners to support their progress.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 5 Teaching qualification, or above (e.g. CertEd/DTLLS/PGCE)
• Experience of delivering Functional Skills English
• Must hold own Level 2 qualification in English
• Must have experience of delivering training to small groups of learners
• Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train clients
• Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative

Responsibilities
