Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is hiring a Functional Assessor (WCA) in Frimley. The role is hybrid, full-time, Monday to Friday, 9-5, with an option for part-time 3/4. Salary starts at £42,000 with a £1,000 rise at 12 months based on performance.

• Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with current professional registration.
• Minimum 1 year post-registration experience in an adult setting.
• Strong written and verbal clinical communication skills; IT literate.

• Review medical evidence and compile detailed reports for the DWP.

Become aFunctional Assessor, supporting individuals applying for Work Capability Assessments (WCA) on behalf of theDepartment for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Your Role:

• Assessing claimants functional ability/work related activates and daily activities via phone or face-to-face appointments.
• Use your critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills
• Reviewing medical evidence & compiling detailed reports for the DWP
• Using your clinical expertise in a role that values quality, not speed

Essential Criteria:

• Registered Nurse, OT or Physio
• Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting
• NMC/HCPC registered
• Strong written and verbal clinical communication skills.
• Confident communicator & report writer – IT literate
• Ability to work independently and manage a clinical caseload efficiently.
• Experience working with complex health conditions
