Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is hiring a Functional Assessor in Cambridge for a hybrid role. Salary £42,000 with a £1,000 raise at 12 months based on performance. The position targets nurses, OTs and physios, with Mon–Fri, 9-5 hours and no nights or weekends.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays, plus pension and wellbeing support. The role involves assessing claimants for universal credit and/or employment support allowance, reviewing medical evidence, and producing detailed reports for the DWP.

Qualifications

• RN, RMN, RNLD, OT or Physio
• 1+ year post-registration (adult setting)
• NMC/HCPC registered
• Strong communication & report-writing skills
• Sponsorship not available

Responsibilities

• Assess claimants seeking universal credit and/or employment support allowance via phone or face-to-face for Work Capability assessments and evaluate daily activities and work capability.
• Review medical evidence and produce detailed reports for the DWP
• 12 weeks paid training provided
