Job summary

Everpool Recruitment in Bristol is hiring a Functional Assessor for hybrid work. You will assess claimants' health and daily living needs via phone and in-person assessments, and compile detailed reports for the DWP.

The full-time role includes 12 weeks of paid training, a salary of £40,000–£42,000 (rise of £1,000 at 6/12 months based on performance), and a comprehensive bonus structure. Monday to Friday, 9–5, with hybrid working and 25 days’ holiday.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, OT, Physio, Paramedic or Pharmacist.
• Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting.
• NMC/HCPC/GPHC registered.
• Confident communicator & report writer – IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Assess claimants' health & daily living via phone and face-to-face assessments (PIP/WCA).
• Review medical evidence & compile detailed reports for the DWP.
• Use clinical reasoning and maintain high quality reporting.

Functional Assessor

Location: Bristol

Salary: £40,000–£42,000 (rising by £1,000 at 6/12 months - Performance based)

Nurses | OTs | Physios | Paramedics | Pharmacists

Full Time - Hybrid - Monday-Friday, 9-5

Part time - 3/4 days - Hybrid

Who We’re Looking For:

• Registered Nurse, OT, Physio, Paramedic or Pharmacist
• Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting
• NMC/HCPC/GPHC registered
• Confident communicator & report writer – IT literate (Please note: sponsorship not available)

The Role:

• Assessing claimants health & daily living via phone and face-to-face appointments doing Personal Independent Assessments (PIP) - looking at daily living and mobility or Work Capability Assessments (WCA) - looking at functional ability and work capability/related activities.
• Reviewing medical evidence & compiling detailed reports for the DWP
• Use you critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills.
• Use your clinical expertise in a role that values quality, not speed
