Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is seeking a Clinical Assessor (WCA) for Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists. This hybrid role combines home-based and office work with a standard Monday–Friday schedule, starting at £42,000 with potential bonuses and a £1,000 increase after 12 months.

You will conduct WCA assessments by phone and in person, review medical evidence, and produce objective reports for the DWP, while managing your own caseload and maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year post-registration experience in an adult-focused setting.
• At least 1 year of active NMC or HCPC registration.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Good report-writing and written communication abilities.
• Confident IT skills and the ability to work across multiple systems.
• Full right to work in the UK.

£42,000 starting salary + up to 10% bonus + £1,000 increase after 12 months

Full Training Provided, No previous Functional Assessor experience is required.

Successful candidates will complete a comprehensive 12-week paid training programme, covering assessment techniques, DWP guidelines, clinical reasoning and report writing.
