Maven Group Ltd in Warrington is seeking experienced NMC HCPC professionals for Functional Assessor roles. You will carry out up to five client assessments per day by phone, video or in person, and produce factual reports to inform DWP decisions.

The package starts at £42,000 per year, with a £4,000 uplift to £46,000 after 12 months following training and approval. Hybrid or home working is available, with options for full-time or part-time schedules and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC-registered professional with 1+ year post-registration experience.
• Ability to carry out assessments by phone, video or in person.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Carry out 5 client assessments per day (phone, video or face-to-face).
• Prepare factual reports to help DWP determine eligibility.
• Receive training and ongoing support to perform effectively.

What is on offer as a Functional Assessor?

• Excellent starting salary at £42,000pa
• Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours
• Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)
• Warrington based when working on-site

£4,000 performance related salary uplift to £46,000pa after 12 months following training and DWP Functional Assessor approval.

What does the Functional Assessor role involve?

The Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 5 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their working capability.

You’ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.

What we look for;

• An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 year’s or more broad post-registration experience
• Someone who’s proactive and keen to learn
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Competent IT and computer skills
• Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
