Maven Group Ltd in Greenock is seeking a WCA Functional Assessor (NMC HCPC qualified) to join a well-established, people-focused team.

You will assess clients for Work Capability Assessments, complete reports for DWP, and receive comprehensive training, with hybrid/home working and a generous benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• NMC registered nurse (RGN or RMN) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with 1+ year post-registration experience.
• Proactive and keen to learn.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Competent IT and computer skills.

• Excellent starting salary at £39,500pa
• Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours
• Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)

What does the WCA Functional Assessor role involve?

The Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 5 client assessments per day who are claiming for WCA (Work Capability Assessment). A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their ability to perform work-related activity. You’ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.

• An NMC registered nurse (RGN or RMN) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with 1 year’s or more broad post-registration experience
• Someone who’s proactive and keen to learn

• Competent IT and computer skills
• Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
