Digital Catapult is seeking a Full-stack Software Engineer to join our Belfast office, building software for projects including digital twin environments and AI assurance testbeds. You will work across frontend, backend and deployment with a Lead Software Engineer, delivering production systems and rapid prototypes.

You will write secure, tested code, participate in design decisions, and deploy using CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes on Azure, collaborating with designers, researchers and product

Qualifications

• Professional software development in TypeScript/JavaScript, frontend and backend.
• Frontend framework such as React with backend services and databases.
• Agile delivery with source control, code review and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Build web frontends, backend services and APIs in TypeScript across projects.
• Contribute to design and technical decisions from prototypes to production platforms.
• Write tested, documented, secure code and review colleagues' work.
