Job summary

Harvey Nash Group is seeking Product Engineer (AI-Augmented & Full-Stack) in Belfast, UK. The role focuses on building modern financial technology products with AI-assisted workflows, combining frontend and backend engineering with cloud-native infrastructure.

You will work across multiple levels from engineers to senior leaders, designing, building and delivering production-ready software with high standards for security and architecture. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• 2-8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on across the full software development lifecycle.
• Ability to translate business problems into engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship full-stack applications from concept to production.
• Develop frontend interfaces using React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs using Python with FastAPI/Flask/Django.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate prototyping and delivery.
• Design robust architectures, data models and API contracts.
• Work with cloud-native infra, including AWS, PostgreSQL and Terraform.
• Own automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews and deployments.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for security and performance issues.
• Collaborate with PMs, designers and stakeholders on solutions.
• Contribute to engineering standards and reusable components across teams.
