Job summary

TRG Screen in Belfast is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (.NET) to design, develop, and evolve backend services and frontend applications across our enterprise product suite, blending new feature work with modernization of legacy systems.

You will work with C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front‑end frameworks, contribute to architecture decisions, champion automated testing, and apply AI‑driven development practices across the full SDLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer using the Microsoft stack.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET, building enterprise-grade backend systems.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience in modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or similar).
• Strong database skills with relational databases (SQL Server or PostgreSQL preferred).
• Solid understanding of clean code principles, design patterns, and testing practices.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and frontend applications for TRG Screen products, including modernisation and maintenance of legacy code.
• Participate in the full SDLC — requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
• Operate independently on complex tasks, owning features end-to-end across the full stack.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to clean code principles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues across backend and frontend.
• Use AI tooling as standard practice across design, implementation, code review, and testing to improve quality and delivery speed.
