Government Recruitment Service is hiring a Verification Assurance Officer (Central) in Hereford to work on frontline fraud prevention. The role emphasizes collaboration with Jobcentre colleagues, conducting interviews for claim verifications, and strengthening fraud controls at the site level.

The VAO will support preventing fraud in the welfare system, educate customers on responsibilities, and provide feedback on fraud trends to specialist teams. Travel between sites may be required.

Formación

• Experience conducting initial and evidence interviews for verification of identification and housing costs elements.
• Ability to provide practical support and raise fraud awareness among colleagues.
• Strong communication skills to educate customers on responsibilities and consequences of non-compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct initial and further evidence interviews with claimants and verification activities.
• Lead customer education sessions on fraud prevention and responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate Management Information (MI) as directed by analysts.
