Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is seeking a Verification Assurance Officer to work from a Jobcentre location in King’s Lynn. The role focuses on preventing fraud entering the welfare system by conducting interviews, verifying evidence and educating claimants on their responsibilities.

As a frontline operative you will collaborate with Jobcentre colleagues, raise fraud awareness and provide feedback on trends while maintaining accurate MI.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting face-to-face interviews with claimants in frontline welfare settings.
• Ability to educate customers on fraud responsibilities and prevention.
• Willingness to travel between Jobcentre/service centre sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out initial and further evidence interviews and verification activities with claimants and documents.
• Provide regular feedback on fraud trends to office meetings and to risk/intelligence teams.
• Lead customer education sessions with Jobcentre colleagues about responsibilities and consequences of non-compliance.
• Maintain accurate Management Information (MI) as directed by analysts and performance teams.
