Job summary

Warwickshire Police in Leamington Spa is seeking a Local Policing Resolution Centre Enquiry Officer for a permanent full-time shift-based role. Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate both orally and in written form with a wide range of people.
• Proven ability to gather and collate information and create and maintain accurate records
• Ability to accurately input and maintain data
• Competent in the use of IT, including Microsoft packages

Responsibilities

• Deal with enquiries from members of the public face to face, by phone, email, video call, or other electronic platforms.
• Deal with members of the public and colleagues professionally, efficiently, and courteously according to the Code of Ethics.
• Provide advice, guidance and assistance at front counters; record crimes on Athena.
• Apply NSIR when recording incidents and HOCR when recording crime reports.
• Record and investigate non-deployable crime and manage related tasks (CCTV, statements, exhibits, victim updates, risk assessments).
• Accurately update, retrieve and interrogate Force IT systems.
• Provide comprehensive updates on investigations when required for further action by officers.
• Undertake other duties commensurate with the role and ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.
