Qualifications

• 2 A levels or level 3 equivalent qualification in any subject or in final year.
• Current PCSO with PDP completed and probation met.
• Current Special Constable with independent patrol status and 16 hours/month.
• Current ISA with 12 months service and ISA training course completed.
• Holding a valid driving licence before cohort start.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial and ongoing frontline response to a wide range of incidents.
• Take a leading role in effective localised partnerships to problem solve and support organisations, groups and individuals.
• Engage with victims, witnesses, suspects and the vulnerable with equality, diversity and human rights considerations.
• Maintain awareness of risks to individuals and take action to protect public safety and address vulnerabilities.
• Conduct priority and high-volume investigations to inform high-quality case files and criminal justice proceedings.
• Gather information, intelligence and evidence from varied sources to support investigations and proceedings.

Education

2 A levels or a level 3 equivalent qualification in any subject

Current serving PCSO with PDP completed and probation passed

Current serving Special Constable with independent patrol status and 16 hours/month

Current serving ISA with 12 months service and ISA training course

Driving licence held by pre-employment stage (14-16 weeks before cohort start)
