Job summary

Premier Inn is seeking a Duty Manager to help run Harrogate Town Centre hotel. You’ll lead shifts, coordinate reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams, and ensure a smooth guest stay. The role offers permanent hours and a clear path to progression, with full training and ongoing support.

You’ll be on the floor, guiding the team, resolving issues, and keeping operations running during busy periods. This is a hands-on leadership role with real responsibility and a strong customer-service focus.

Qualifications

• Experience leading people in a busy customer-facing environment would suit us.
• Confident making decisions and staying calm when things get busy.
• Ability to lead across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running the way it should.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team.
