Job summary

South Gloucestershire & Stroud College is seeking a Customer Experience Officer at Filton Campus. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, manage the signing-in process, and support safeguarding while providing efficient front-of-house service.

The role is full-time, permanent, 37 hours per week, with a competitive benefits package and opportunity to contribute to a welcoming learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy customer-focused environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• IT literacy with Microsoft Teams/Office suite.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for visitors; manage signing-in and GDPR checks.
• Manage switchboard to direct queries via telephone, email or Teams.
• Support safeguarding; perform regular ID checks and issue replacement IDs/lanyards.
• Maintain knowledge of courses; respond to inquiries within 48 hours.
