Job summary

Serco Leisure is recruiting on behalf of Leisure Solutions Community Trust for a Receptionist role at South Charnwood Leisure Centre. The post involves front-line customer service, handling memberships and promoting leisure services within a busy site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ experience delivering strong customer service in a customer-facing environment.
• Proficient in using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to learn new software quickly and stay accurate.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service face to face and over the telephone.
• Manage reception duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Process new memberships and manage new member enquiries.
• Promote health and fitness services and swimming lessons, and membership upgrades.
• Handle cash transactions and follow financial procedures accurately.
• Support colleagues across the team when required.
• Maintain a safe and compliant environment in line with policies and procedures.
• Build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders to deliver consistent service excellence.
