Job summary

Novotel Cambridge North in the United Kingdom seeks a Receptionist to be the face of the hotel, welcoming guests and ensuring their well-being with a personal touch throughout their stay.

You will be trained in all front-of-house functions and hotel safety, balancing transactions and supporting the team to achieve quality and financial targets. Weekend work and public holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Front desk hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to welcome guests warmly and handle enquiries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest and provide exceptional service throughout their stay.
• Personalise interactions to ensure a unique guest experience.
• Engage with team to meet hotel quality and financial targets.
• Handle emails, phone enquiries and other administration tasks.
• Balance banking transactions for the hotel.
• Maintain Novotel Standards and assist with upselling to maximise room rates.
• Assist with Food and Beverage services when required.
• Attend training sessions during the day; weekends/public holidays work.
