Gonville Hotel Cambridge is seeking a Night Receptionist to join a fast-paced, friendly team in Cambridge. You will welcome guests at night, handle requests, and support other departments as the night progresses.

The role offers a full-time, 40-hour week with a strong focus on guest care, safety, and efficient service during night hours. Training and progression opportunities accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Hospitality industry passion.
• Reception experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to understand guests' needs to create exceptional service experiences.
• Excellent personal presentation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• You are a night owl, comfortable working at night.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Be totally guest focused by delivering excellent customer service.
• Gain experience in all sections of the front desk and maintain legal requirements.
• Assist in running the hotel at night and support other departments for the next day.
• Continuously improve the quality of the hotel's services.
• Undertake night audits and hotel safety checks.
• Engage in guest relations and accommodate special requests.
• Promote company values and behaviours at all times.
• Show enthusiasm for change, attention to detail and reliability.
