Job summary

Accor is hiring a Receptionist for Novotel Cambridge North in Cambridge, UK. You will be the face of the hotel, greeting guests warmly and ensuring their well-being throughout their stay.

The role involves delivering personalised service, collaborating with departments, and supporting daily front-of-house operations. You will train across front-of-house functions, handle inquiries, balance transactions, and contribute to higher guest satisfaction while adhering to Accor standards.

Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest and provide exceptional service throughout their stay.
• Personalising each interaction with guests to ensure a unique experience.
• Engage with the team to ensure hotel quality and financial targets can be met.
• Handling emails, phone enquiries and other administration tasks.
• Responsible for balancing banking transactions for the hotel.
• Ensuring Novotel Standards are met and maintained.
• Competent in taking reservations, upselling where possible to maximise on average room rates.
• Assisting with Food and Beverage services if and when required.
• Required to attend training sessions by company during day time.
• Working hours include weekends and public holidays.
