Salary: £102.83 - £121.83 per day + Benefits

Job Type: Full‑Time, Term‑Time Only

Overview

Are you a Residential Childcare Worker or Support Worker in Preston looking for better hours and a career in education? We are seeking resilient individuals with experience in youth settings to work as Cover Supervisors within a high‑achieving secondary school.

This role is an excellent opportunity شهد to use your transferable skills in behavior management and de‑escalation to lead classrooms of up to 30 pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Management: Deliver pre‑set learning materials to classes of up to 30 students across KS3 and KS4.
  • Behavior Support: Utilize your experience from residential care to maintain a calm, productive learning environment.
  • Student Engagement: Build rapport with students to ensure they remain on task and motivated.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow the school's behavior and safeguarding policies to ensure student safety.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 12 months working with children/young people (Residential, Youth Work, or SEN).

  • Vetting: Must hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
