Job summary

Sainsbury’s is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver for Emersons Green Bristol, delivering groceries door-to-door with energy and care. The role involves a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, friendly customer service, and safe driving across varied routes.

Part-time 24 hours/week, permanent contract. You must be 18+, hold a full UK driving licence, and have Right to Work in the UK. Availability and shifts will be published; a driving assessment is part of the interview process.

Qualifications

• Over 18 years old with a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months and no more than 6 points.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Ability to deliver groceries safely and handle customer orders with care.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Sainsbury’s at every doorstep you deliver to with friendly, helpful service.
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van and deliver groceries on time and in good condition.
• Carry out van checks to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness, and secure loading.
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varying locations and conditions.
• Assist across the store when not delivering.
