Job summary

Tesco’s Customer Delivery Drivers meet customers in their homes daily. This role is hands-on, physical and varied, with no two shifts the same, and you’ll work independently much of the day with support back at base. Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores.

We guarantee at least 16 hours per week, with some shifts from 12 hours. You’ll load the van, keep areas tidy, and deliver orders in the customer’s time slot with warm, friendly service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with up to 3 penalty points.
• Comfortable working flexible shifts and delivering high service levels.
• Strong customer service mindset with friendly, reliable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and work area clean and organized.
• Load the van safely and complete vehicle checks.
• Explain order changes/substitutions and process refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot with warm, friendly service.
