Job summary

Tesco’s Customer Delivery Drivers meet customers in their homes every day, delivering great service with a smile. The role is hands-on, physical and varied, with independence for much of the day and support from managers back at base when needed.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25; roles guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, with some locations offering 12-hour shifts. Flexible working is available from day one.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with ≤3 penalty points.
• Be warm and welcoming with customers.
• Ability to work both independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised.
• Load the van safely and perform pre-delivery checks.
• Explain order changes and substitutions to customers.
• Deliver within defined time slots and ensure customer satisfaction.
