Job summary

Tesco is looking for Customer Delivery Drivers to bring groceries to customers’ homes. You will work independently much of the day, with support from managers back at base when needed. The role emphasizes friendly service and reliable delivery, with minimum 16 hours per week and options in shifts from 12 hours.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores. Some locations may offer additional payments, making this a varied and customer‑facing driving position.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs while out on the road.

Responsibilities

• Keep your van, trays, and work area clean, tidy and organised for every customer.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes to customers and handle substitutions or refunds as needed.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot and provide friendly doorstep service.
