Job summary

Tesco’s Customer Delivery Drivers meet customers in their homes daily. This role is hands-on, physical and varied, with no two shifts the same. You’ll work independently for much of the day, with a supportive team of managers back at base when needed.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with a positive, helpful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep van and work area clean, tidy and organised for every delivery.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes to customers and handle substitutions or refunds.
• Deliver within time slots, ensuring items arrive in perfect condition.
• Treat products with care to maintain quality and trust.
