Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to meet customers in their homes and provide excellent service. The role is varied, independent on the road, with support from managers when needed. Pay starts at £14.18 per hour and rises to £15.45 in M25 stores, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options from 12 hours.

You will keep the van tidy, load safely, handle substitutions, and deliver orders with care and a smile.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence (full or automatic).
• Be warm and welcoming with customers.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Keep your van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes and substitutions to customers calmly.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot with a friendly approach.
