Road & Air Freight Operator - Import & Export

Location: Shoreham-by-Sea

Salary: Up to £37,000 (DOE)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Road & Air Freight Operator to join our growing team in Shoreham. You'll play a key role in managing import and export shipments, providing exceptional service to customers, and ensuring the smooth movement of freight across international and domestic networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day import and export operations across both road and air freight
• Arrange collections, deliveries, and transportation with carriers and partners
• Prepare and process all necessary documentation, including customs entries
• Monitor shipments, providing proactive updates to customers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
• Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in freight forwarding (road and/or air)
• Good knowledge of import/export procedures and customs processes
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments
