Job summary

TEAM is seeking a Freight Account Manager in the United Kingdom. You will manage freight from quotes to delivery, building profitable customer relationships and earning significant commission on profit generated.

The role involves developing new business across air, sea, road and courier services, negotiating with airlines, shipping lines and hauliers to deliver optimal solutions. Hybrid or remote work is available.

Qualifications

Proven freight industry knowledge is essential.
Track record in proactive B2B sales and new business development.
Experience selling freight services across air, sea, road and/or courier markets.
Evidence of working against sales, revenue or gross profit targets.
Strong commercial skills covering quotations, negotiation and customer account development.

Responsibilities

Generate new prospect leads and win new B2B accounts through telephone and face-to-face sales.
Develop opportunities across air, sea, road and courier freight services.
Prepare accurate, competitive quotations while protecting commercial margins.
Negotiate with customers and suppliers to secure profitable cargo movements.
Consistently grow gross profit, sales productivity and revenue against agreed targets.
Manage customer requirements from initial enquiry through to the successful movement of cargo.
