Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited in Manchester is seeking an Account Manager with freight operations experience to own the full lifecycle of airfreight shipments. You will manage quotes, pricing, bookings, and coordination through to delivery and invoicing.

You will work Mon-Fri, 08:30–17:00, in a supportive, progression-focused environment with inhouse training from industry experts and a clear path for development within a global logistics business.

Qualifications

• Experience managing full lifecycle of freight operations (imports & exports).

Are you an Account Manager or similar, with a background in freight operations, looking for a highly autonomous role within a leading global logistics business?

Are you looking to join an incredibly supportive business who prioritise employee progression and development, offering impressive inhouse training from industry experts?

In this role, you will be the main point of contact for customers, responsible for the full lifecycle of airfreight operations, from initial inquiry through to delivery. You will support both quotes and pricing, alongside bookings management and internal coordination, through to customs clearance and delivery arrangements. Finally, you will be responsible for shipment costing and final invoicing.

This role would suit an Account Manager or similar, with a background in freight, having prior experience managing the full lifecycle of freight operations within both imports and exports.

The Role:

• Full lifecycle of airfreight operations
• Support both quotes/pricing, alongside bookings management and coordination
• Customs clearance and delivery arrangements alongside shipment costing and final invoicing
• Monday - Friday, 08:30am - 17:00pm
