PDT Fleet Training Solutions is recruiting Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors to deliver both classroom inductions and on-road driver upgrades at multiple locations across Great Britain. Based in Shrewsbury, you will coach in category B vehicles, with a range of client sites nationwide and flexible diary management.

The role requires strong communication, meticulous evaluation, and experience with fleet training.

Qualifications

• Desirable to be Accredited ADI Fleet Trainer or LGV NIR member.
• Proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience delivering courses in electric vehicles; upskilling available to right applicants.
• Excellent presentation and report-writing skills.
• Laptop and printer provided with course materials.

The Freelance Driver Trainer position, based in Shrewsbury, offers £150 per day on a contract basis through Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial. You will deliver half and full-day coaching sessions for category B vehicles, predominantly vans, at client sites. Responsibilities include classroom-based induction and practical on-road upgrades, plus completing precise assessment reports within set timescales. This contract suits skilled instructors seeking varied locations nationwide. Candidates should possess strong communication abilities and a meticulous approach to evaluation. Prior experience delivering fleet training is essential, along with relevant qualifications. The role demands adaptability across different client environments and schedules.

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Required skills and experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
• Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
