Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/Instructors/Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain, including an Enfield base. You will deliver half-day (4-hour) and full-day coaching in category B vehicles (mostly vans) at client sites, combining on-road and classroom induction or upgrade courses with timely, accurate assessment reports.

Ideal candidates will be accredited as an ADI Fleet Trainer or listed on the LGV National Instructors

Qualifications

• Accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• Proactive training delivery promoting positive driver behaviours.
• Experience delivering courses in electric vehicles (EV).

Responsibilities

• Deliver half-day (4-hour) and full-day coaching sessions in category B vehicles (mostly vans).
• Prepare and complete accurate assessment reports to deadline.
• Travel to client sites nationwide and deliver engaging training sessions.

Freelance Driver Trainer (Enfield) — £150 per day, contract basis. This role, offered through Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial on behalf of PDT Fleet Training Solutions, involves delivering half-day (4-hour) and full-day coaching sessions in category B vehicles, primarily vans, at client sites. Duties include conducting on-road and classroom-based induction or upgrade courses, alongside completing precise assessment reports to deadline. Suited to instructors or assessors with previous fleet experience, the position requires a professional manner and reliable approach. Working patterns vary according to client bookings, offering flexibility across the week. This contract provides an opportunity to work with a respected provider in the sector, supporting diverse clients nationwide from an Enfield base.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward‑thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Responsibilities

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Skills and Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
