• Professional delivery of safe driving presentations and materials.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

The Freelance Driver Trainer position in Birmingham, offered through Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial on behalf of PDT Fleet Training Solutions, carries a daily rate of £150 on a contract basis. This role involves delivering half and full-day classroom and on-road coaching sessions, primarily in category B vans, at client premises. Duties include completing precise assessment reports promptly. Ideal applicants will possess strong communication skills and relevant instructional qualifications. The assignment suits experienced assessors seeking flexible work across Britain, supporting induction and upgrade courses for prestigious clients. This contract offers varied locations and consistent scheduling for qualified professionals. PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training. As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following: Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans). Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration. Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Skills and experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
