PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers to deliver a mix of classroom theory and on-road assessments in category B vehicles at client sites across Great Britain.

Ideally accredited as an ADI Fleet Trainer or listed on the NIR; strong instructional skills, fleet safety knowledge, and ability to travel and manage schedules independently are essential.

Freelance Driver Trainer sought in Crawley, offering £150 per day on a contract basis via Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial for PDT Fleet Training Solutions. This position involves delivering half-day (four-hour) and full-day coaching sessions, blending classroom theory with on-road assessments in category B vehicles, typically vans, at client sites. Responsibilities include completing precise assessment reports promptly. Candidates should possess strong instructional abilities and a thorough understanding of fleet safety standards. The role suits self-employed professionals seeking varied work across Britain with prestigious clients, requiring flexibility to travel and manage schedules independently. Prior experience in driver training or assessment is essential for success. PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans). Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration. Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
