Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is seeking a dependable Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer to deliver coaching and assessment sessions for category B vehicles (mostly vans) at client premises across Great Britain. You will run half or full-day courses and produce timely, precise assessment reports while managing a busy diary.

Travel to client sites nationwide is required. Prior experience as a driving instructor or assessor is essential.

Qualifications

• Accredited as an ADI Fleet Trainer or listed on the LGV NIR.
• Proactive approach to engaging and inclusive training.
• Experience delivering courses on electric vehicles is desirable.
• Professional delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.

Job description

This contract position, based in Basingstoke, pays £150 per day. Working for PDT Fleet Training Solutions, you will deliver coaching and assessment sessions for category B vehicles, predominantly vans, on client premises. Your tasks include running half or full-day courses, with half-day sessions lasting four hours, and producing precise assessment reports promptly. The role involves travel to various client sites across the country, providing induction or upgrade training. We seek a dependable Freelance Driver Trainer who can manage their schedule effectively. Strong communication skills and a meticulous approach to paperwork are essential. Prior experience as a driving instructor or assessor is necessary for this freelance contract. PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work for the UK's fastest growing and forward-thinking providers of fleet driver training.

Responsibilities

• Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
• Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
• Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

Skills & Experience

• Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
• A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
• Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
• Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
