Job description

The Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team's core mission is to help Deliveroo make more effective decisions. We aim to build long term company value, and we achieve this by setting company strategy, facilitating world-class execution, understanding and sharing the drivers of our business, delivering accurate financial results, all while managing risks and keeping an eye out for opportunities. Finally, it's critical that we continually foster and evolve a team culture to allow for each team member to thrive and grow. This is a 6-month opportunity to join the FP&A team and play a key role in shaping financial insights and strategic decisions at Deliveroo.

What you’ll do

• Reporting: driving/owning several aspects of management reporting, including monthly Exec reporting, ensuring alignment and consistency in outputs and conclusions; continuous drive to improve quality of management reporting; ensuring data accuracy through our financial systems.
• DoorDash integration: supporting our financial integration with our new parent company, DoorDash, and supporting analysis, translation and reconciliation of our data and metrics as we transition into the wider Group.
• Analysis: providing proactive, insightful, high‑quality analysis to support decision making, in the context of wider business implications, and translating this into comprehensive materials/commentary for senior stakeholders.
• Business partnering: working with other teams across the Finance function to ensure consistency of reporting and incorporate knowledge from finance specialists; bridging between the FinRep and F&S teams, promoting clarity over accounting entries and the resulting impact.
• Always curious and willing to learn new skills – you don’t need to know everything but show a desire to learn and up‑skill on the job.
